Yay, I've been featured!

First, I get news that I'm being published in the Decemeber issue of "Canadian Scrapbooker", and now I'm being featured on the Scrapbook & Cards Today blog. The layout they chose was this one of my little man, Brodie.



I definitely feel honored, and I cannot wait to see what comes next!

Imaginisce Sketch

First off, I want to say how much I absolutely love the B-Day Bash collection from Imaginisce. It's so fun and the embellies are to die for! Also, I incorporated the August sketch that's on the Imaginisce blog. The sketch was created by the uber amazing Sarah de Guzman. I seriously visit her blog daily for inspiration, funny stories and adorable photos of her pups.

It's been super rainy and overcast here, so I haven't been able to get any photos of my layouts. It's a bit of a PITA (I wish I had a scanner I could figure out, LOL), but it'll do for now. One day I'll buy a good scanner (any recommendations?)!

I'm finally scrapping some recent summer pictures. And by recent, I mean from a little over a month ago. But, I don't think it gets more recent than that for me! These photos are from our family reunion. It's nice to finally have photos of my little cousins to scrap, because I've been itchin' to use all the cute papers!

For the July 1st long weekend, Josh, Brodie and I jumped in the car and drove 7 hours to a tiny town called Elbow (Saskatchewan). We went there for a family reunion and I had an absolute blast! Here's a photo of my dad (2nd from the left) and my aunts and uncle. They're standing in front of my grandfather's boat which was restored by my cousin's husband. He did such a great job - it looks almost brand new!

Sun, Sea & Shades

I've had Imaginisce's Scooter's Vacation line just kickin' around waiting for the perfect photo, and when I saw this picture of us in Naples, the blues and yellows just fit so well!
