More LOs

I made these layouts for NSD weekend, but I'm just getting around to uploading them now. Since that weekend, I have the scrapbooking itch, so hopefully I'll be posting some of the newer layouts/mini albums I've created since then (I haven't even photographed them yet).

I also finished a layout today during the online crop (love these things, they should happen way more often).



This picture was taken in one of the medieval hill towns we visited in Italy. These towns were amazing, everything was just so different - nothing like in North America.

My first crop

So, I participated in my first online crop. Although I only completed 2 pages, I'm very happy with that. I find that I'm just not scrapping as much as I used to (when I first started) and that I'm never comepletely satisfied with what I do. But, we're our own worst critic!

This first one is of our vacation house just outside of Siena, Italy. It was the most relaxing part of our trek across Europe because we could just come home, cook our own dinner, and have a glass of wine. We didn't have to worry about packing, transportation, or finding somewhere to stay the next night. It was great!

It's a horrible picture, but if you *strain* your eyes, you can see "Our Little Italian" in white on the house chipboard pieace (above the "home")



This is one of my favorite pictures of our time in Venice. This is Josh and I sitting outside of the apartment we rented in the middle of Venice. That city is abosultely amazing (minus the smell), and I definitely hope that we can go there again.



For the stitching on the heart, I used a Bazzil Basics stencil. I love how it turned out (even though I messed up on the year!).



Aren't these buttoms by MM super cute? I also used a sewing pin that I bought at WalMart, you know, to add a little somethin' somethin'

Brodie had his hair cut!

We usually shave him ourselves, but it's been so cold lately, that I decided to take him in. He also needed his nails cut, and I get too nervous to do that, so in he went. He looks like he lost 10 pounds (and a couple years younger - who could tell that he's over 8 years old!). I thought I'd share, because I'm such a proud momma

Organizing my *new* scrapbook room

Yay! I finally have my new scrapbook room, and so far I love it. I only have the Jetmax cubes set up so far (and I didn't realize that I have so much stuff, and I need more!), but hopefully I'll have a nice desk to put up there and do some minor decor things. But, it's off to a great start.


Here's a picture of all 8 put together. I don't really like the clip-it-up there, but for now it'll do

My new way to store ribbon. I've used cropper hopper, then moved to glass jars, and then to this. I love this method!


Storage for my tags and journaling spots. I haven't received my order of tags from PeachyCheap yet, so it will definitely be way more full soon - woo hoo!


I have sooo many mini-albums, which you'll see. In this drawer I store the ones I have covered, but haven't put together yet.


Here I keep all of my little chipboard pieces. Gotta love those cute lil' Maya Road trees.

And finally, all of the little $1.50 mini-albums from Micheals. I didn't realize that I have so many.

I didn't take a picture of everything, but there are many more drawers of goodies (which is making me giddy). I so wanna get in there and play around.

Score!

How cute are these?! I hit up Michaels yesterday and purchased these stamps (and some Studio G journals - I can't get enough of those either). I thought I'd share - I know how much you apPEAciate it =)

Just some photos

I thought that I'd add a few more photos that I've been taking for my P365. I'm a little behind though on the actual LOs (almost done January), so these will have to do for now =)


I had to take my car in for some body work, and the cmpany gave me a stuffed dog that said "We take the wrinkles out". It was cute, but my real dog felt a little threatened by it at first =P


A picture of some really heavy snow that started to fall after our big melt. Very pretty, but not so nice to drive in.


Josh, myself and Brodie went for a walk down into the valley. It's so peaceful down there, you can't even tell that you're in the middle of a city with more than a million people!


I just loved this picture of Brodie - I caught this as he was coming inside, and his ears are too adorable!


I always get to class super early, and I'm usually the only person in the computer lab for at least an hour, so it was a perfect opportunity to grab a picture!


Aww!! Every time I leave, Brodie looks out the window with his adorable little puppy eyes. He stays there until we drive away (and he's there when he get home. Aww...)

Another Digital LO

I've been sick the last couple of days - sneezing really, which is more annoying than anything. So, I've been at home playing with PSE (and a bunch of wonderful free downloads from 2peas) and I've created another LO. I really like how this one turned out (even though the colors are kind of blah). When I initally start a new LO, I don't make the file size very big, but I may have to redo this one so I can print it out and give it to my dad.

Cookies

I love to cook, but I've never really been into baking. Maybe it's because I have no self control when it comes to eating sweets (I can eat everything in sight without thinking twice), but who knows. Anyways, my SO has been wanting me to bake him cookies for as long as I've known him, so to go along with his Valentine's Day gift, I baked some shortbread cookies. And, let me just say, they were really tasty!



I purchased the treat bags, the ribbon and the embellishment from Micheals. I liked the way it turned out, and I think that I may just have to do it again =)
