Jamie was a doll and pointed me in the direction of the "This is why I scrapbook" challenge on Shimelle's blog, and I just had to try this. This is the first page that I've ever made without a photo, and I must say that I don't mind not having a picture on there (I was a little nervous about how it'd turn out). Oh, and it's really not crooked - my pictures taking skills aren't the greatest =P

Whew, and it's done!
I have a few favorite times of the year: summer holidays, Christmas, Spring travelling... and CHA (and NSD, of course!). I wasn't able to participate as much as I would have liked just because I was trapped inside a classroom, but I was still able to finish two layouts and get some chat time in (and win a prize - thanks American Crafts and TwoPeas!).
'Tis the Season
For this layout, I used a lot of Pink Paislee, some Basic Grey and some Prima (pearls)
January 2008
I used to make these calendars all the time, and decided to do one of January '08 (yay me for scrapping some old photos!). Not quite sure who made the patterned paper because I sued scraps, but there's a few different Thicker types used on here.

Cook-a-thon!
Josh left for the weekend, so I decided that I'd pull out my domestic little self, and cook up a storm. My kitchen looked like a natural disaster had just occured, but the end result was beyond worth it.
I ended up with 2-dozen meatballs, 2 sicilian casseroles, 1 chicken potatoe casserole, 1 chicken/veggie casserole, and a huge bucket of hamburger soup. Now when I spend 11+ days in class, I don't have to worry about cooking when I get home. Ah, why didn't I think of this last semester?!

Finishing Up Some Layouts
I've have a problem where I start a new project and don't finish. So, it'll sit on my desk, I'll stare at it, and then get an idea for another project, and start that one. In turn, my desk is always a mess because the supplies that are out are to be used on one project or another. So, today I told myself I had to finish up my layouts before I started any others (hence the 3 posts in 1 day!), and here are the rest of them!

Sketchy Thursday's Second Chance Challenge
I was on the Sketchy Thursday blog the other day, and found a super cute card sketch I'd love to try.
Here's the sketch:
And here's what I did with it:
I made a cute little Valentine using American Crafts Romance collection and one of the dollar stmaps from Michaels.
