My McLovin'

I'm enjoying scrapping older photos these days. Maybe that's because I have been pretty busy and haven't taken any new pictures.. who knows!

This layout features a photo of Josh and I from about 4 years ago. It was created for the current challenge on The Creative Type blog. The challenge was to add type/text to your photo. In the top righthand corner it says "love".

Studio Calico's "Anthology", Sassafras Lass "Nerdy Flag Banners", American Crafts "Lullaby" Thickers, & Jenni Bowling alpha stickers

And here's a layout that was made for the Handmade Love Challenge Blog. I hope you'll all play along! =)

Basic Grey's "Nook and Pantry", American Crafts "Lullaby" Thickers, & American Crafts "Elements Primary" pearl brads

And one more cute lil' guy! This was made for One Stitch at a Time's challenge blog. This time around the challenge was to create something that used brads, ribbon and designer cardstock.

Celebrate

Here's a card that was made for a PageMaps challenge. Another dark image, I know. My Photoshop doesn't seem to want to open on this computer, so I'm not able to make it lighter, but I may take a new picture when there is more sunglight available!

I used some old October Afternoon, a Technique Tuesday tile, and some Bazzill cardstock.

Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!

I went looking for some pictures to scrap, and I came across some older photos. This one is of Josh at the zoo. I love finding older photos - and now I have way more inspiration to get me in the scrappin' mood!

The Vacationer Motel paper was perfect for these little pinwheels!

I'm not a big card maker, but I love this one. I almost want to mail it to myself for my birthday - almost ;)

I used 2 sheets of the "Dear Lizzy" patterned paper and the stamped image is one of Micheals dollar stamps.

ATC Mini Book

A couple of months ago the Young Scrappers group on Two Peas decided to participate in a Christmas ATC swap. We had so much fun we decided to do it again for Valentines Day. I ended up making this little mini to showcase the wonderful work of all of the girls. Now I just have to put together a Christmas one!

New Friends

Ah, my "Dear Lizzy" order finally came in, and I just had to play!

Here's a layout I completed using a mixture of "Dear Lizzy" and some new Sassafras. Back in August we were introduced to a family from Scotland. Well, Josh's aunt has known them for quite a few years, but invited them to Invermere to take in the sites - it is absolutely beautiful, and it was the children's first trip to Canada. This family was amazing - I love them! I now think of them as our extended family. <3

This was also completed for the following challenges:

Family

More grad photos are finally scrapped. I used a sketch from Let's Scrap. I'm not a 2-page layout kinda gal, so I just used the one side of the sketch.

I used Basic Grey "Nook and Pantry", AC "Lullaby" Thickers, and Prima pearls

This was also entered into the 3 color Gingersnap Creations challenge. The 3 colors I used were blue, white and yellow. Gingersnap Creations is also celebrating a birthday, so pop on buy and say hello!

And finally, Couture Cardstock is celebrating national craft month by having daily challenges! Today's challenge is to use yellow, so here goes!
